Linda Sippio


Linda (Welch) Sippio, 62, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, July 4, 2019, at LB Broen Home.
Linda was born on December 23, 1956 in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Janet (Nyberg) Welch. Growing up in a military family, Linda attended school various places, eventually graduating from Fergus Falls High School.
A short time later, Linda moved with her family to California, where she met and married Ralph Sippio. The couple resided in Anaheim, California, where they managed an apartment complex. Linda and Ralph were married for over 30 years. Following Ralph’s death in March of 2011, Linda continued to manage the apartment complex, until declining health led to her retirement. For a number of years, Linda lived with various family members, including her brother Paul and his family.
In April of 2017, Linda returned to Minnesota with her mother. In September of 2017, she began residing at Lakes Homes Lenore House in Fergus Falls, and later LB Broen Home.
Linda enjoyed various television programs, including The Walking Dead, NCIS, The Young & The Restless, and The Voice, to name a few. A lover of music, she especially enjoyed Rock and Roll, namely Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and The Rolling Stones. When it came to trivia, Linda was unstoppable. Although Linda had no children of her own, her nieces and nephews were very special to her.
Memorials are preferred.
She is survived by her mother, Janet Welch of Ashby; five brothers, Tom (Cindy) Welch of Ashby, Pat (Corina) Welch of Forest Ranch, CA, Paul (Diane) Welch of Apple Valley, CA, John Welch of La Palma, CA, and Daniel (Jean) Welch of Cerritos, CA; special friend, Jan Jones; her special friends from the Lenore House, Van, Cheryl, and Audrey, Marian and Michelle; numerous nieces, nephews; cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, Frank Welch; husband, Ralph Sippio; sister-in-law, Vikki Welch; along with several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Memorial Service: 5pm Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, with visitation one hour prior to services.
