Jeffrey Allen Rasmusson, age 50, of Brainerd, passed away unexpectedly at Essentia – St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Jeff was born on November 10, 1966 in Fergus Falls to Donald & Rose (Budke) Rasmusson. He owned and operated Lakes Area Docks and Lifts. Jeff married the love of his life, Roxanne Rychner on August 4, 2007.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Roxanne; father, Donald of Fergus Falls; children: Randi Martin (Zachary Glennen) of Baxter, Geordon Goodell of Homosassa, FL, Meghan Goodell of Brainerd, Kilee Rasmusson of Brainerd and Robert Rasmusson of Brainerd; siblings: Debbie (David) Hegseth of Fergus Falls, Glenda (Randy) Schmidgall of Texas and Donovan (Renae) Rasmusson of Fergus Falls; grandsons: Logan Martin, Austin Glennen and Baby “G” due May of 2018; many nieces and nephews; mother in law, Lil Rychner of Staples; brothers in law: Robert (Jody) Rychner of Plymouth, Rodney (Andrea) Rychner of Backus, Ross (Mary) Rychner of Staples; sister in law, Ronnette (Brent) Smith of Browerville.
Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Rose.
A memorial service remembering Jeff’s life will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11am at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Visitation will be on Sat., Sept. 30, 2017 from 2-6pm at Halvorson Johnson Funeral Home, Brainerd Chapel, and also one hour prior to the service, Monday at the church.
