Amanda Paige Lundeen, 21, of Moorhead, MN, formerly of Fergus Falls, passed away unexpectedly at her home the morning of Wednesday, September 7, 2016.

Amanda was born on January 3, 1995, in Fergus Falls to Paul and Mary Beth Lundeen. She was raised in Fergus Falls, attending Claire Ann Shover Nursey School before entering the Fergus Falls public school system. She began her high school career in 2009 at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, graduating in 2013. She was continuing her education at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.

From an early age, Amanda possessed a grand empathy for others and had a sweet and caring nature. She truly was the “Mother Hen” throughout her life, never one to jump into things without cautiously observing before diving in. She always loved road trips and airplane rides to visit family and friends. Her love of reading and the written word continued throughout her life. She loved music, art and photography; possessing a keen eye in her photos and sketches and writing endeavors. Amanda also carried with her a deep and abiding faith, which put her on a course for many mission trips with her Hillcrest family and also led her to participate in, and lead, bible study while at Concordia.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed trying on many “hats”, literally and figuratively. From dance to art to her photography and love of travel and music, her kindness to others and keen organizational skills shown through. College proved to be a true adventure, with her cultivating a small close-knit circle of friends and faculty. She shared her deep faith, love of music and travel with friends and faculty resulting in many spirited discussions, road trips for both mission work and music. Her hard work, ethic and attention to detail, coupled with a truly generous and kind spirit, was shared with many.
Amanda carried herself throughout her life with an inexplicable and indescribable air that cannot be explained or denied. She always tried her best and believed in working hard towards her goals and showing kindness to others. She left her mark on this world and is now on to making a new mark and impression in her next life. She danced to the beat of her own drum, and a beautiful dance it was. We will get to witness it when we meet again. She was profoundly loved in this life and will continue to be in her next. Let her light shine on all who knew and loved her.

Amanda was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ann Noseworthy; and her uncle, Dave Karpinski.
