(Fergus Falls, MN)
Earlier this week Andrea Zetah, Administrator of LB Homes’ Broen Home spoke to Shelley Schoeneck’s Kindergarten class at McKinley School in Fergus Falls. Zetah was invited to the classroom as a “Community Hero” a program recognizing those in our community who make a difference in the lives of others.
Zetah, a life-long Fergus Falls resident and Registered Nurse, spoke to the children about caring for elderly people and the importance of helping to maintain and continually improve quality of life as people age. She began working as a CNA at Broen Home while she was in High School and during the past 27 years worked her way up to Director of Nursing and then in 2013 was named Administrator.
In her talk, Zetah discussed helping people during mealtimes, using wheelchairs and how she and her staff care for others. All the Kindergarteners were given a souvenir pair of Broen Home sunglasses and posed with their latest hero.
