Fergus Falls Area Youth Firearms Safety Class Announced
The Fergus Falls area Firearms Safety Class is scheduled to begin Monday, March 21, 2016. Classes will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:45 PM. Six classroom sessions and mandatory range activity are planned. All classes will be held at the Prairie Wetland Learning Center. The Learning Center is located immediately south of Fergus Falls on the Highway 210 by-pass. Students must be a minimum of 11 years old by the class start date. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend with their student. Pre-registration is required with the Fergus Falls Community Education Office. The Community Education Office is located in the Roosevelt Education Center at 340 Friberg Avenue. Class size is limited to 50 students, so please register early. Cost at the time of registration is $5.00. Upon successful completion of class, students must self-register with the MN Department of Natural Resources where a $7.50 fee will be assessed.
