Wadena, MN – March 30, 2015 — Tri-County Health Care (TCHC), a Minnesota health care system, announced that it’s newest Family Medicine Clinic will open on April 6 in Verndale, MN. This is TCHC’s sixth primary care clinic in the Tri-County area, and will be staffed by physicians and advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners or physician assistants).
Lorinda Zigan, PA-C, will be the primary health care provider at the Verndale Clinic. She will be joined by Laura DuChene, MD; Ben Hess, MD and Renea Miller, PA-C who will be staffing the Verndale Clinic on a rotating basis. In addition to primary medical care, the clinic will also provide x-ray and laboratory services. The new 2200 square-foot clinic is located at 102 Farwell St., Verndale, which previously housed Lake Country Insurance.
To commemorate the opening, Tri-County will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 3. On the docket is a brief presentation and the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon. The public is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the Verndale Clinic on Saturday, April 18from 10 a.m. to noon. Refreshments, goodies and tours will be available to the guests at the open house event.
