Sacred Days to be presented by Lakeland Hospice & Home Care

Lakeland Hospice & Home Care will be presenting "Sacred Days" on Thursday, September 16, from 1-5 p.m. at the Lakeland Hospice House, 394 Woodland Drive, Fergus Falls. Sacred Days is an afternoon designed for anyone who wants to learn more about end-of-life issues and how to help others through the spiritual, emotional, and physical journey of dying. Experienced professionals including Dr. Bruce Money, Medical Director for Lakeland Hospice & Home Care; Kayleen Brausen, RN, CHPN, Education Volunteer; Bonnie Wallin, LSW, Bereavement Coordinator and Wes Hart, Chaplain at Lakeland Hospice & Home Care will be speaking about various topics regarding the sacred last days of life.

Anyone who works with the dying, through a parish or in the community, or who would just like to know more can contact Stacey Wendland at (218) 998-1419 to pre-register. 3.5 contact hours are being offered and refreshments and resources will be provided. Cost is a suggested donation of $10. Pre-registration is requested by September 14, 2010. Space is limited.

This is the first time in three years that "Sacred Days" has been offered in our area.
