Lakeland Hospice Motorcycle Ride is Gearing Up

(Fergus Falls, Minn.) Motors are running for the 9th Annual Lakeland Hospice Motorcycle Ride set for Saturday, September 11th beginning and ending in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. and the ride will leave at noon sharp, rain or shine from the Lakeland Hospice & Home Care office parking lot, 1505 Pebble Lake Road (on the Corner of Hwy 210 East & Hwy 59).

The cost to ride is a free will donation. Participants can now register online at www.hospice-ride.com or by stopping in at the Lakeland Hospice & Home Care offices listed above.

2010 Lakeland Hospice Ride shirts are available now and can be purchased at Lakeland Hospice & Home Care and will also be for sale on the day of the ride.
The ride route will wind through about 120 miles of lakes country with two stops along the way. The ride will end in Fergus Falls around 5:00 p.m. at the Eagles Aerie #2339 ship in Fergus Falls. Camping is also available.

A free-will supper will be served immediately after the ride. The public is welcome to attend the dinner and join the festivities. Door prizes will be given away during supper and then the raffle winner of the beautiful 2010 Harley Heritage Classic Motorcycle will be drawn at approximately 6:30 p.m., along with 2 - $500 and 10 - $100 cash prizes. Ellie from Lakes Radio will be the Master of Ceremonies for the biggest Hospice Foundation fund raiser of the year.
Raffle tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Lakeland Hospice & Home Care by calling (218) 998-1400. Only 2,500 tickets will be sold, and the last two years have been sell-outs. Tickets are going fast and are expected to sell out soon.

The band, Triple Play, will start at 8 p.m. and the public is welcome to come and enjoy an evening of entertainment and support for such a good cause. All proceeds after expenses will go to the Lakeland Hospice Foundation for patient care. The hospice ride website has more about accommodations and other ride information.
