Are you ready to ski? Glendalough State Park is offering cross-country ski lessons on Saturday, February 4 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. Meet at the Glendalough State Park Trail Center at noon and join the naturalist on a 1.5 mile loop around the Beaver Pond Trail. A limited amount of free equipment is available, so participants that register ahead will be fitted first. Skis can be rented for a fee after the program if you want to explore further on your own or try your new skill at the Candlelight Ski that evening. The program is free, but a Minnesota State Parks vehicle permit and a Minnesota Ski Pass are required and can be purchased at the park. Registrants will be notified if the class has to be canceled due to snow or weather conditions.
