Jon Solinger: Working Land

January 2nd – February 13th

Reception and Talk Tonight, 4-7pm

Artist’s Talk at 5:30pm

Working Land is a photography project that uses aesthetically strong images to discover the meaning behind rural landscapes, lyrically documenting people and their workplaces. The project explores people’s attachment to a place through their work and looks at how human labor transforms a particular piece of land, and in turn, the land shapes the life of the worker.

Meet our new Operations Manager!

Good News from the Gallery!

Consider a gift to support our summer programs.

The good news is we are at $70,000 of our $135,000 fundraising goal for the year. Thank you to all who responded to our end of year requests with more than $15,000 coming from individual donors. If you’ve not yet contributed, our business year runs until June 30th and we’d love to hear from you. You can give online via our website or stop by the Gallery for a pledge card or to make a gift via credit card.

We are still looking for exhibit and programming sponsors for the 2016 year with hopes of funding a summer intern for our weekly Family Art Table at Concerts in the Park and for the Summer Arts Academy. Let us know if you are interested in these special funding opportunities.
