Governor to discuss road, bridge, and rail improvements included in his transportation proposals

ST. PAUL, MN – On Monday, Monday, March 16, Governor Mark Dayton will travel to Moorhead and Bemidji. During his visits, Governor Dayton will outline his proposals to improve area roads, bridges, and rail crossings.

Specifically, the Governor’s proposals would expand and improve I-94 in northwestern Minnesota and Highway 2, Highway 371 and Highway 71 in Bemidji and the northern region of the state. It would also fund a major grade separation project in Moorhead. Along with these major projects, the Governor’s proposals would provide funding for local governments to repair state highways and repair or replace dozens of area bridges.
