Thank you Otter Tail County residents for your support and help in collecting 5970 lbs. of food through the National Association of Letter Carriers food drive. The food collected was distributed to local food shelves and will go a long way to prevent hunger for thousands of people in our area
17 communities in Otter Tail County participated in the food drive by leaving non-perishable food or checks made out to their local food shelf by their mailbox or at the post office. The food was picked up by the letter carriers or volunteers, weighed and delivered to 8 local food shelves. We certainly appreciate everyone who helped to make this a success. A special thanks to Baron Patnoude from the Fergus Falls Post Office who serves as the Stamp out Hunger Coordinator for all Otter Tail County post offices.
When you reach out a hand to one, you influence the condition of all. Thank you for LIVING UNITED!
