4-H Project Day was held at Underwood School on Saturday, January 13. Nine classes were offered in sewing, foods, woodworking, art, and more. 74 youth and many parents attended, with each youth completing 3 projects to take home. 4-H Project Day is open to youth kindergarten through 6th grade, 4-H members and non-4-H’ers. Class teachers are older 4-H youth, 4-H parents, volunteers, and 4-H staff.
Sunday, January 14 was 4-H Water Park Day at Thumper Pond in Ottertail city. All members of 4-H families and friends, regardless of age, were welcome to attend. From West Otter Tail 4-H and East Otter Tail 4-H, there were 175 youth and adults who enjoyed an afternoon of playing in the water.
