A Celebration of Inga’s work in Community Aquatic Leadership, Volunteerism, Life Guard Training, and Water Safety Training.

Respected Aquatics professional Inga Nelson is retiring from the Fergus Falls YMCA after 37 years of teaching Swim Lessons, Water Fitness, Lifeguard Training, and Water Safety Training at the Fergus Falls YMCA. Inga is formerly an M-State Physical Education Instructor, Fergus Falls High School Dive Coach, and Fergus Falls Synchro Swimming Coach. She has been in the Aquatics industry for 64 years.

An Inga Nelson Scholarship Fund has been set up at the Fergus Falls YMCA to provide scholarships or financial assistance for youth swim lessons at the Y. Honorariums accepted.
